The Tapawera Promotion Association Incorporated exists to promote the Tapawera district within New Zealand and overseas.  It covers those areas currently determined by boundaries set by the Tapawera and District Community Council (TDCC).

The Association assists, promotes and encourages sustainable tourism and business development which, in the opinion of the management committee, could be of benefit to the district.  It also assists in the coordination of any activities in (or by) the district which will assist in achieving the above objectives.
