Fun, food & fellowship for all independent seniors from Nelson, Stoke & Richmond

We are a dynamic Club for social seniors.  The activities programme is full and varied to enhance the social, physical and mental well-being of our members.  We are addressing the nation-wide problem of “Isolation and Loneliness” of the elderly and connecting them with the community and like minded adults.  We are open 4 days a week.

You could be eligible to get funding to attend Stoke Seniors.  If you would like more information, come and see us in the office.  Come in and pick up our newsletter and see what’s happening.  If you like what you see, come and join our dynamic social club.  The annual subscription is $20.

A newsletter is available on the 20th of each month.  Make sure you book early for the exciting outings, that can include picnics, movies and visits to interesting places.

Transport – We have 3 vans that go out 4 days a week.  They will pick members up from their homes from the Wood in Nelson to Three Brothers Corner in Richmond.  The cost per member is $20 a day, which includes pick-up, morning tea, lunch, afternoon entertainment and drop home.

Lunch – We provide a two course cooked lunch – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  The cost is $10 for members and $12 for non members.  Mondays we are away on a picnic, bbq or cafe. These trips and prices are advertised in our newsletter.
