The Nelson Tasman Climate Forum is the first of its kind in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is a community-led initiative open to everyone.
Our mission is to weave individuals, households, civil society organisations, businesses, councils and iwi together around urgent, strategic action on climate change in the Nelson-Tasman region. We aim to get everyone in our climate change response waka paddling quickly in the same direction.
Climate response requires action from all of us. We have created the Nelson Tasman Climate Forum Charter to set out the purpose and goals of the Forum, and we are inviting all individuals, businesses, organisations and community groups who would like to join and support the Forum’s mahi to sign the Charter. You can read and sign the Charter here.
The Climate Action Plan
The Nelson Tasman Climate Strategy will tell the story of where our region wants to be and how we’ll get there. It will evolve over successive Forum hui and to reflect successful action, updated research and changing circumstances.
