We are a growing club with over 100 members. Between us we raise bees, teach others about beekeeping, and consume our honey products!

The purpose of our club is to support the hobbyist beekeepers in Nelson. Beekeeping is becoming ever more popular and our club is here to help you learn about bees and learn to keep bees.

Our club welcomes individuals and families and interested groups who are considering beekeeping, starting beekeeping or are professional beekeepers.

If you are  interested in taking up beekeeping, or meeting with other beekeepers, and live in the top of the south, this is the club to join!  We meet at 7pm on the first Tuesday of every month from February to December inclusive, at the Waimea Rooms at the Richmond A&P Showgrounds.  Everyone is welcome.
