We welcome listings from groups operating in the Nelson Tasman region that meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Provide a free or subsidised service to the community
  • Are a registered charity, a not for profit group or a social enterprise
  • Are staffed by volunteers (or a combination of staff and volunteers) such as community, environmental, recreational or spiritual groups
  • Are a health/wellbeing or social service provider

The owners of Found reserve the right to remove listings they feel fall outside the scope of the directory

It is important that you select the appropriate Category & Region for your Organisation’s listing in the FOUND Directory.


Let people know where your Organisation is based. You can also let people know about access for the disabled and your hours of operation.


You should provide as many contact methods as possible to allow people to get in touch with you. Please note the Admin Email Address is mandatory but will not be displayed in the Found Directory. The Admin Email Address you provide below will be used to contact you about your listing in the FOUND Directory.

N.B. For ease of admin of the website, there is a requirement for organisations to provide an admin email. This email will not be publically available on the website, but will only be used by the administrators to contact your organisation regarding your listing. If you do not wish to use a personal email, then you could have an organisational one using Gmail , Hotmail or similar.

The description should include a summary of your Organisation’s purpose, as well information such as your mission statement, meeting venue and membership fees. This is a great opportunity to tell the community about what your Organisation does.


You may include your Organisation’s Logo or an alternative image in the online FOUND Directory. Make sure the images are in either of the JPG, GIF or PNG formats, are within the 800 x 800 px size limit and no larger than 20MB.
