Wood Club is the oldest club in the Nelson Association and is a family oriented club.  Over the years we have had families with 3 generations shooting together.  We welcome anyone who wants to give shooting a go from 13 years up.

We operate on Mondays from 7pm at the brand new range at Saxton Field.  We provide all the gear needed as well as one on one coaching.  Please note there is no eftpos available at the range.

Our main activity is competitive smallbore target shooting, using .22 rifles at 25yrd.

Casual members are welcome if they want to learn to shoot, or want their children to learn to shoot safely.  Smallbore shooting is a precision sport, taking place in controlled conditions, where safety is of paramount importance and where male and female shooters compete together.
