We are a group that meets at the hospital therapy pool to do exercises in the warm water. Access is a referral from physiotherapy department or doctor and as numbers are limited steady attendance is expected.

Basically we are people helping people to ease pain and stiffness from arthritis and other medical issues where the heated pool gives relief.

Looking for volunteers for one hour per week to help supervise at Nelson Hospital therapy pool. Being a supervisor entails being aware if someone needs help and calling the hospital staff to the pool. You can also take advantage of being in the pool as well.
