U3A is an international group of clubs which give retired people who wish to continue learning a chance to do just that.

U3A is a non-profit club to facilitate this endeavour, and we would love you to join us.

We operate through Study Groups  in which members get together and investigate subjects in ways they feel is both fun and instructive.

We publish a newsletter every second month which is emailed to members.

U3A in Nelson is run by a committee of volunteers, which is elected at the Annual General Meeting.
