The Top of the South Branch of NZ Society of Authors is run by a small volunteer committee of NZSA members.

Our purpose is to:  support and encourage branch members in all genres of writing, to foster social and creative contacts and to offer information and advice on matters relevant to writing.

Our resources of finances and time are limited, but within these limits we work to:
1) Support and promote the writing activities of writers and writers’ groups in the craft and business of writing.
2) Maintain a healthy financial status for the branch and ensure effective governance.
3) Uphold NZSA goals to promote and increase membership, and diversity of members.
