We’re a group of Moutere & Mapua locals who help to feed and support families in our wider communities, by providing simple home-cooked meals.
We gather every couple of months to cook-up a large numbers of nutritious and delicious meals, which we then freeze and make available to vulnerable or stressed families, or anyone who could use a break. We use the Moutere Hills Community Centre & Mapua Hall kitchens to lovingly create meals, which we then freeze and place in publicly accessible freezers – for people to come and collect and gift on to those in need of a little help and support.
Our Freezers are located at:
- The Moutere Hills Community Centre – in the foyer
- Country Kids Child Care
- The Māpua Hall – in the back hall
- Māpua School
- Māpua Fruit and Vege Shop
Our meals are also gifted via the Motueka Maternity Unit and a few other small organisations within the community.
