The Tasman Bay Blues Club was formed in 2021 to promote blues music and blues musicians. The Club has a jam night on the third Thursday of each month at “The Barn” at the Honest Lawyer. New performers, aspiring musicians, and local Blues musicians play between 6:30 and 9:30 pm. The entry fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Those who perform do not pay. Yearly membership is $40 and $20 for the last half of the year. The subscriptions begins on 1st October and ends 30th September the next year.

There is a yearly blues festival that is held in summer as well as a celebration of International Blues Day in August.
