STEM Writers Nelson is an active writing group who meet at the Elma Turner Library, Halifax Street, Nelson, in New Zealand.

You may like to join us!

We meet on the Second Tuesday Each Month – thus the name, STEM – from 1pm to 3pm, in the Activities Room at the Library. 

​We set a monthly writing theme, read our work to each other, and offer critique. 

Coffee and home-made cake provided! 

Online, we post our latest work, plus a serial… Look too for upcoming events, book launches, writer blogs and discussions, books for sale.  

​Watch too for our joint publications – hard-copy.

STEM Writers work with all genres:  fiction, short fiction, memoir and family history, poetry, reportage…
