Original St Peter’s on the Strand (1874) was a beautiful wooden building that was much admired as a local landmark.

It is now located at Founders Heritage Park nearby.

The concrete block replacement was erected at Atawhai in 1982.

Church services are currently suspended until a new ministry plan is developed.

The venue is available for weddings, funerals, christenings and other events.
