The Richmond Scottish Country Dance Club provides traditional Scottish country dancing for all ages and skill levels. The organisation offers classes and social events, aiming to preserve and share this historic dance form. It provides a space for dancers to learn steps, enjoy music, and connect with others.

The club holds class nights where steps and dances are taught. Social events are organised throughout the year in conjunction with other clubs in the Nelson/Marlborough area. No partner is required, and informal dress is suitable. Soft flat shoes are recommended.

The club welcomes both experienced dancers and beginners. No prior dance experience is required.
