Richmond School is a medium to large primary school (years 0-6) in the heart of Richmond (Nelson) – one of New Zealand’s fastest growing towns, at the top of the South Island.

Our dedicated team strives to provide a quality education for every student.  We provide the children with many opportunities to excel academically, in leadership roles and in sports.

Richmond School is well known for being a family oriented school where parents are most welcome to visit and be fully involved in the school programme.  We have an open door policy and value your support.

A special welcome is extended to families new to our school.  If you are also new to our town, we hope your involvement with the school will assist you to become part of our community.  School staff, Board and Parent-Teacher Committee members are all available and happy to meet with you to assist when needed.
