The Pohara Boat Club clubroom is equipped with a bar (members only), dance floor and a fully appointed kitchen which all overlooks the harbour.  The clubrooms are available to hire out for functions at a very reasonable rate (Bar NOT included).

The Club is part of Clubs NZ, so it’s members are welcome.

Port Tarakohe has a comfortable mix of recreational and commercial craft and as such usually has available marina or pile berth spaces for visitors on a short term basis.  There may also be marina berths available on a longer term basis when some of our blue water cruising boats depart on longer trips.  Take a look at our notice board.  For boat launching facilities and berthage, please ring the marina supervisor to arrange.

The Boat Club is open on Sundays (and other days when required) for it’s members for meals.
