Picton Maritime Festival is an annual event designed to celebrate the unique maritime heritage of Picton and the Marlborough Sounds.

Each festival provides FREE, family orientated entertainment for around 6000 people.

From humble beginnings, it has developed each year into an event which now holds its own place on the calendar and takes place each year on Wellington Anniversary weekend.

The purpose of the Picton Maritime Festival Trust – a registered charitable trust – is to raise funds and create a fundraising platform for other non-profit organisations within Marlborough with a particular emphasis towards youth.

We have established a professionally operated, safe, enjoyable annual event for the whole family.
