Come join us at Chess in Nelson!
We offer two fantastic programs suitable for all ages and skill levels. Chess: The Art of Creativity is our teaching boot camp for beginner and intermediate players, where you’ll learn the basics and advanced strategies. We meet every Tuesday from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the Victory Community Centre, 2 Totara Street.
Nelson Chess Club is our clubhouse where we gather to practice chess, meet other enthusiasts, and enjoy the game. We meet fortnightly on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Tahunanui Community Hub, 55/61 Muritai Street.
All ages are welcome to join us.
On top of these regular events, we also organize exciting workshops and tournaments both online and over the board.
