Sessions with a Financial Mentor are led by the client (you) and focus on the areas you want to discuss.  Whether you are saving for your goals, struggling with debt or just want to get your money sorted.

We can support you as you:

• set goals
• develop a plan for achieving your goals
• develop good money management skills
• work out a spending plan/budget to suit your needs and lifestyle
• make a plan to get out of debt
• plan for a life event such as going flatting, having a baby, studying, buying a house, retirement etc
• find a way forward when the unexpected happens such as redundancy, separation, interest rate rise etc
• fill out hardship forms for IRD, KiwiSaver, insurance companies etc
• liaise with creditors and supporting agencies
• apply for bankruptcy or other insolvencies
• access food parcels and connect with other crisis support services
• understand credit and hire purchase contracts
