Nelson Bays Harmony is a group of women who sing for pleasure and perform with passion! The choir has around 50 singers of all ages and backgrounds, and we are ready to welcome more!
We sing unaccompanied 4-part harmony, barbershop style. Barbershop music is arranged to produce beautiful ringing chords that are a buzz to sing and to listen to! Our repertoire includes well-known ballads, barbershop classics and modern a cappella songs, and numerous Christmas carols!
Why not come along to a rehearsal and see if this is for you? We rehearse on Thursday evenings 7pm to 10pm in the hall at Club Waimea, just through the lights in Lower Queen Street, Richmond. We have carpools from Atawhai, Nelson and Motueka. Let us know if you need a ride.

Let us entertain you – Nelson Bays Harmony Chorus is a group of about 40 women who love to sing in four-part a cappella harmony. We can provide entertaining music for any event.
- The chorus has a wide repertoire of songs from sentimental ballads to modern songs.
- We can provide up to a 60 minute programme.
- Smaller groups and quartets are also available.
