Nestled in the heart of Nelson, our preschool is housed in a beautifully restored villa, offering a warm, homely environment where children of all ages grow and learn together.

As one of Nelson’s only mixed-age centres, we welcome up to 25 children from birth to 6 years old. We believe there is something truly special about children learning alongside others at different stages of life — older children develop confidence and empathy as they mentor younger ones, while younger children are inspired and challenged by watching their peers. Together, they build a genuine sense of community and belonging.

Our thoughtfully designed environment offers a rich mix of stimulating and open-ended resources, empowering children to explore, play, and make sense of the world at their own pace. Everything we do is guided by a belief that children are capable, curious learners who thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported.

We offer full-day and sessional care for babies and preschoolers, with hours from 8am to 5pm. We encourage a minimum of three sessions per week, as consistency helps children build strong relationships, settle confidently, and get the most from their time with us.
