Kitchen Connect is a free community cooking class run in the kitchen at Whakatu Presbyterian. The classes are once a month on a Saturday morning where we explore ways to make save money in the kitchen whilst making great tasting food. We also make home-made cleaners as another way to decrease spending in the home. You can come to just one class, or more. There is no child-care available so the classes are just for adults.
After the class we have lunch together, eating what we have just cooked.
The classes are small to ensure everyone takes part, and there are a lot of smiles and laughter, enjoying the time in the kitchen!
