The Kainga Tonga Nelson Tasman Community Trust is a charitable trust here in Nelson Tasman. The purpose of our Trust is to:

• promote and preserve the culture, identity and aspiration as a unified body of all Tongan people and their families within the Nelson and Tasman regions;
• advocate for and facilitate improved outcomes for Tongan people, including sourcing appropriate funding in the areas of health, employment, education and wellbeing;
• provide support and assistance for members consistent with the purpose and intent of our Trust.
