FC Nelson was formed in 2011 as a result of the merger of the Nelson City, Nelson Metro, Nelson United and Tahuna Juniors football clubs.
We have approximately 12 junior/youth teams competing in the winter league across Nelson Bays, are involved in club tournaments and run a successful holiday program, skills centre, Academy and summer football programmes. We also have 11 Senior teams competing in the winter league across Nelson Bays.
Our long term aim is make football accessible and enjoyable at all levels of the game and to give players of all ages and coaches the chance to develop to whatever level they aspire to.
