Family Start is here to support you to be the best parent your pēpi/baby can have.

He Matapuna Ora Charitable Trust has been providing the Family Start programme in the top of the South Island since 2000. 

The Family Start programme is a child-centred, intensive home visiting programme that focuses on improving tamariki health, learning and relationships, family/whānau circumstances, environment, and safety.  We can support whānau with the health, education, and wellbeing of their tamariki.  We like to start working with you during pregnancy or up until pēpi/baby is two years old. Often, we can continue to support you until children are three years old.
