We are a diverse group of people who share a faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord, and a desire to follow his example of serving one another and our community, and caring for the world that he loves.

You are most welcome to visit our two beautiful churches in Takaka and Collingwood, to enjoy the peace and quiet and to take time to pray.

We would also love to have you join us in worship.  Our worship services are warm and informal in style, while also including some traditional elements.  Music includes a variety of hymns and songs.  Holy Communion is usually included twice a month.  Prayer is central.  Preaching is Christ-centred, life-related and biblical in content.  Our Collingwood services also include a creative Children’s Programme during term time.

The Church of the Epiphany, Takaka

Situated in the Takaka township’s main street the Church of the Epiphany was built in 1884 and the original interior timbers remain.  The building is of a traditional layout and seats approximately 80 persons.  Adjacent to the church is a lounge used for small meetings with facilities for making tea and coffee.

The Parish Lounge opens out onto an expansive wooden deck which leads to the Parish Hall with a well equipped kitchen, toilet and store room.

Services are held each Sunday at 10am.
Communion on 1st and 3rd Sundays each month.

St Cuthbert’s Church, Collingwood

St Cuthbert’s, Collingwood, built in 1873, is the oldest building in the area, much of the town having burnt to the ground on several occasions.  It seats approximately 50 people.  The congregation numbers approximately 20-25 persons.  The Church Hall which has been refurbished and painted inside and out, is available for community use, and church functions.  It includes a small carpeted lounge with kitchen facilities, suitable for smaller groups

Services held each Sunday starting at 4.45pm with tea/coffee.
Communion on 2nd and 4th Sundays each month
