FRESH FOCUS  is an association which was formed in 1977 to arrange talks on a wide variety of subjects.  It is an established part of the Nelson scene, and is designed for people who appreciate an opportunity to find new interests, or to learn more about subjects which have already captured their attention.

The venue is the Elim Christian Centre Hall at 625 Main Road in Stoke where it is easy to generate a friendly and informal atmosphere which stimulates good discussion.  People of all ages are welcome at FRESH FOCUS meetings, although it’s intended primarily for senior citizens.  Newcomers to Nelson may find both stimulation and a chance to make initial contacts which can lead to friendship.

The members of the Committee find it a great help to get suggestions about new subjects to be explored each year, and if possible the names of people willing and able to speak about them.
