We’re a committed group of activists who love to raise awareness of global issues with local people and with people passing through Nelson.  We act on Amnesty International priority campaigns and are great at getting the public involved.

We host a stall in Nelson Market every few months.  We also participate in Amnesty International’s annual Write for Rights letter writing event and the fundraising street collection in August, including outreach to Richmond and Stoke.

We are also involved in the Individuals at Risk Programme, writing letters regularly in support of two Laotian prisoners of conscience.
