When the Northern Hemisphere is freezing cold during the winter it is summer in New Zealand.
The Kiwivelo Training Camp is based in Nelson the sunniest city in New Zealand.
But it is not just the weather that makes Nelson the perfect place to prepare for next season.
The wonderful natural environment and clean air are fantastic you will never want to go home and there are more roads and bike tracks than you could ever ride in one summer.
If just training is not enough there are club races in Nelson every weekend.
There is also the chance to get some 'easy' UCI points at the Tour of Southland or Tour of Wellington and the NZ Mountain Bike Series (UCI E2).
The Ironman NZ is on and has 70 Kona slots available.
