Description

RYSN was formed some 5 years ago from being a satellite of Nelson Modelers based at Tahunanui Pond. This facility is no longer the principal location and until a new pond is created as part of the Saxton Field Sports complex the club is using Mariri Link pond and and an area at the Marina Nelson Port.
Sailing is year round and every third year the club hosts a National event for class EC12 model yachts. This is next scheduled for March 2009.
