Golden Valleys Riding Club has a membership of around 40 people wanting fun and education for themselves and their horses. A monthly newsletter updates members on happenings both locally and further afield. It is very much driven by the interests of the active members of the club. Riding, in hand, dressage, driving, competition, mules & minis, a dvd & book library, exchange of help and information are all involved. Regular weekly training sessions are held and the club runs a Fun & Versatility Competition at the annual Golden Bay A&P Show. This is for riders of all disciplines and the emphasis is on fun, support and keen in the ring competition. Classes are tailored to showcase individuality and partnership of horse and rider/handler/driver. Unique to the country we think. Club emphasis is on enjoyment, safety and a learning environment.
