To promote and encourage solo racing which is a very good sport for young ones to take up and progress on. We badly need somewhere that we can make a track. We used to have one of the Wakapuaka mud flat next to Westney's farm. We have the riders and bikes and nowhere to go. We also used a long time ago the Richmond Racecourse for long track racing, getting riders from the North Island.
