Description

YrChoice (a programme of Family Education Network) is an established preventative life skills programme focused on helping today's youth make informed choices about their sexual activity. Using trained young adult presenters to deliver an interactive programme YrChoice provides young people with not only the knowledge, but also the tools with which they can best make their own choices. Programmes are offered at Year 9 level. This is essentially the "wait" message coupled with life skills. At Year 10 students' knowledge of effective communication skills within the context of relationships is extended - alongside reinforcement of the year 9 material.
