Description

The Nelson PND Network has been working voluntarily in the area for twenty years.
Originally set up by mothers who had experienced the debilitating effects of postnatal depression the Agency has supported hundreds of families from Nelson to Motueka since then.
The volunteers are skilled and trained women who have a personal understanding of PND and we provide professional supervision and support for them.
The first contact is by telephone and referrals can be made by the client herself by family members or by other professionals.
Postnatal depression can be treated and the sooner help is asked for the sooner recovery begins.
