Whakatu Marae is kaupapa Maori Whanau Ora delivering a range of services for whanau from Rai Valley to Tapawera. Whakatu Marae is committed to ensuring that the welfare and safety of tamariki mokopuna is at all times paramount. Whakatu provides home visits and free service to all whanau. Hauora/Health & Ahumahi/Social services we offer: Whanau ora health promotion and prevention, Social Services and programmes for rangatahi, mana wahine, tane and whanau. Palliative care, Diabetes awareness, education and advocacy for all whanau and all age groups in all areas of health.
