Tides runs residential 5 day outdoor events for teenage girls and their mothers. Tides aims to support girls through the transitional stage of becoming a young women. Events are run twice a year in the April and September school holidays. Scholarships are available. The Tides program includes physical and personal challenges, connecting and sharing. Teenagers are supported by a group of trained women of varying backgrounds and ages. Tides has no religious affiliation and is intended for all teenage girls. Mothers or significant female is encouraged to attend but not a requirement. Celebrating rites of passage is an ancient concept that many cultures still value and celebrate.
