Description

Nelson is one of the settlement areas of Refugee Services Aotearoa New Zealand.
The staff is:
Area Manager
Volunteer Programme Supervisor, Social Worker
Cross Cultural Worker
Case worker. Refugee Services trains volunteers to assist new refugee families or individuals with practical tasks on resettling in NZ. Volunteers work in teams and are supported by Refugee Services staff throughout their 6 month contracts.BR> Former refugees are supported towards independence and encouraged towards a positive outcome for themselves and for the commmunity into which they resettle.
