Description

1. To serve as advocates for the interests of current and future users of the libraries
2. To promote the Tasman District libraries as places of information knowledge pleasure and enjoyment in the pursuit of reading
3. To encourage donations for the enhancement of the libraries
4. To organise functions to promote library service and the widest possible use of them
5. To offer practical assistance and support to library staff when required
6. To produce a regular newsletter telling of coming events library services and other items of interest
7. To arrange fund raising activities to help the library extend services and organise special functions as speakers and writers are available
