Description
Created in 2004 to provide a place to store the "memory" of the area the aim of the collection is to provide evidence of current and past events people activities businesses buildings and research about Lake Rotoiti and its surrounding areas.
The local history collection maintains to appropriate archival standard files papers videos photographs scanned images and maps and also maintains a collection of published resources.
Donations of items of social historical or informational interest are always welcome.
Volunteers are happy for copies of records etc to be donated.
