Description

The Nelson Angel Women's Loan Fund is an Independent Charitable Trust run by a group of volunteers and has a paid coordinator.
The Fund is based on a micro-credit system of no-interest lending and borrowing and provides a community-based funding alternative for women building economic independence.

Once a borrower applies (with supporting documentation) they are interviewed and if successful they sign a contract for the loan.
Funds are then available immediately.
The loan repayments are due to be completed within one year.

Completing the forms and taking part in the interview process is reasonably simple with support being offered at all stages of the process.

Borrowers have applied successfully for a wide range of requests with each one being considered on its own individual merits.
A newsletter is sent out regularly to more than 180 individuals and groups who have links to the Angel Fund.
