Description

Newcomers activities are run by volunteers and aims to link up people who have either recently moved or are in the process of moving into the area.
Many of the new arrivals in Nelson / Richmond / Waimea whether they are from other parts of New Zealand or from oversea have left behind friends and families.
Newcomers aims to help people establish new networks providing support to the whole family.
The group provides a regular programme of events ranging from coffee mornings to weekend barbecues.The image to the right features a newcomers walking group.
There are no membership fees and people are welcome to attend as many events as they wish.
