Antenatal Baby Care Courses
Preparing for parenthood? FamilyWise offers practical training courses covering a wide range of relevant topics including managing your pregnancy, preparing for birth, breastfeeding, baby care, relationship issues, baby equipment and more. FamilyWise antenatal courses are run over four weeks starting every six weeks with training provided by experienced practicing midwives.
Parenting Positively
Your child's skills, language and physical abilities develop the most during the ages of 18 months to 5 years. This course runs twice a year and helps parents understand how all children are different, how they react to situations and how they grow and learn. Topics covered are language and learning, keeping safe, first aid, healthy eating, physical activity, reading, exploration, creativity, music and behavioural management.
