Whilst we specialise in Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) we also carry out functions associated with a standard Civil Defence rescue team, for instance flood and storm response, assisting Fire and Police in emergencies, earthquake community support, evacuations in event of fire, plus many other emergency situations
