This position is funded by the New Zealand Transport Agency and the Council.
I oversee a variety of road safety projects and programmes that contribute to a safe and sustainable transport system.
In addition I am involved in running the community group "Road Safe Nelson Bays" which is a forum made up of key stakeholders in the road safety arena.
That group meets monthly and administers some small amounts of funding for community road safety projects.
