Description

The Waimea Music Club has over 80 members many of whom entertain on club days either singing and/or playing musical instruments.
The club also entertains in several of the retirement homes in the Nelson district.
Once a year the club organises a combined clubs' day with all the country music clubs in the top of the South Island participating - this involves 9 clubs in all.
Every year a visit is arranged with an entertainment group in Blenheim and from time to time a public concert is held with the proceeds donated to a local charity.
