Description

We are small friendly group who meet regularly to help each other and learn more about our art.
We participate in displays and demonstrations at local exhibitions and festivals. At our monthly meetings we always have an interesting demonstration and usually a workshop. At least one a year we have a demonstrator from outside our area to demonstrate new techniques etc.
We welcome new members interested in furthering their knowledge in this ever changing art form.
The art of making realistic looking flowers from sugarpaste is a very rewarding skill. Each year a National Conference is held, with demonstrators coming from England, South Africa, America and Australia, as well as New Zealand. This takes the form of the AGM as well as demonstrations, and a very large display of our craft. The display is open to the public and well worth a visit. The exhibits are amazing.
