Welcome to our parish situated in the Northern suburbs of Nelson, St. Peters Atawhai overlooking the Haven.

As an Evangelical parish we seek to teach God’s word, giving the Bible it’s true authority among us.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he came to minister, died and rose again for our sins.  We desire to see people discipled and grow by the Word and Spirit of God.  It is one of our aims to see those in our community come to faith by hearing God’s good news to is in Jesus.

We have services on Sundays, which have all ages, and range from Traditional to Contemporary, which includes a Sunday School.  After each service we enjoy tea and coffee and a catch up or discuss the morning’s sermon.

We also have a Youth Group Friday nights, several home groups during the week, Craft group on Thursday mornings and a Coffee morning once a month and prayer meetings.

We are a relaxed and friendly parish who love our Lord, care for one another and the community.  We desire to know God, his word and spirit and are thankful for his son Jesus Christ.
